PlantCare AI is designed with a strict Local-First approach. We do not use Firebase, background trackers, or any hidden third-party analytics SDKs. Your personal data is your own.
2. Data Security & Processing / أمان ومعالجة البيانات
- Local Encryption (AES-256): All local data, including your plant diaries, AI keys, and care guides, are encrypted on your device using military-grade AES-256 encryption. We have no access to it.
- Image Processing & EXIF Stripping: Before any plant photo is sent to the chosen AI provider (e.g., OpenRouter, OpenAI, Gemini), the app automatically strips all metadata, including GPS location and EXIF data, to protect your privacy. Only the pixel data is sent.
3. The Absolute Right to be Forgotten / الحق المطلق في النسيان
In compliance with GDPR and global privacy standards, you have the absolute right to wipe your digital footprint from this app.
You can permanently purge all stored diaries, encrypted databases (IndexedDB), and API keys locally with a single tap by navigating to: Settings > Clear All Data.
4. Medical & Agricultural Disclaimer / إخلاء المسؤولية المادي والزراعي
The diagnostics, care advice, and chemical recommendations provided by PlantCare AI are generated by artificial intelligence and are intended for informational purposes only. The AI may hallucinate or provide incorrect guidance.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY: The app developer explicitly disclaims all liability for any agricultural, material, or financial losses, plant death, or physical harm resulting from the use of the app's AI suggestions. You must consult a certified local agricultural engineer and read all chemical pesticide labels before application. By using this app, you assume 100% of the risk.
5. Advertising (AdMob)
If advertisements are enabled, the app uses Google AdMob which may collect anonymous device identifiers to serve non-intrusive ads. Ad interactions rely solely on standard AdMob SDKs without any custom background tracking from our side.
